Our program is designed and delivered following the Diamond method built by Urawa Reds (Japan) and is taught mainly in English.

Q. Are the coaches Vietnamese or Japanese?

Our coaching team includes both foreign coaches (from the US and UK) and Vietnamese coaches. In addition, we regularly welcome coaches from Urawa Reds, Japan.
A standard training session typically consists of 1 foreign coach + 1 Vietnamese coach.

Q. My child has never played football before. Can he/she join the academy?

Yes. Our academy provides tailored programs for both beginners and experienced players. Coaches will assess each child’s level through a free trial training session, and then assign them to the appropriate group so they can progress effectively and enjoy football.

Q. Will students have the chance to visit Japan to train, experience the facilities, and exchange with Urawa Reds Academy in Japan?

In our first school year 2024-25, we have not organized international programs. However, we are planning a Japan tour called the “Urawa Experience”.
This program will include exploring the Urawa Reds’ training facilities, taking part in friendly matches and cultural exchanges with Urawa Reds Academy Japan, and watching Urawa Reds’ professional team’s match at Saitama Stadium.
👉 The schedule, fees, and itinerary are to be confirmed.

Q. If our family is busy, can my child skip a class and make it up later?

Yes. Our academy has a make-up policy depending on the package of the player:

  • 6-month package: 3 make-up sessions
  • 12-month package: 6 make-up sessions

Q. Do you offer free trial sessions?

Yes. We provide one free trial session with a foreign coach so that both parents and students can directly experience our training program, coaching methods, and facilities.

Q. Does the academy organize tournaments or extracurricular activities for students?

In addition to regular training sessions, the academy sometimes organizes friendly matches, internal tournaments, and extracurricular activities to help students improve their match skills, teamwork spirit, and make new friends.

Q. Does the academy support students in developing toward a professional football career? Does it provide certificates?

Currently, the Academy does not aim to train students for a professional football career, and we do not provide certificates. We are a grassroots football school open to everyone, not an elite academy for selected players.
Our focus is on developing football skills, enhancing problem-solving and decision-making abilities on the field, teamwork, and improving overall fitness and health.
However, as part of Urawa Reds, we share a consistent philosophy, spirit, and training methodology – the “Diamond Method”. If we find potential players, we may recommend them to the elite academy.
